Back to the beautiful game
To catch up for those new to this series, this is the third example of an organization whose mission is to own a sports team. The first example was the Football Club DAO, and the second was the DAOnver Broncos. The third brings us back to the beautiful game of football/soccer.
Example 3 is DAOFC. According to their Twitter profile page, “We’re buying an English football club via a DAO. It’s time the fans take back football.” They don’t mess around, straight to the point, and you won’t find me doubting them. DAOFC is another excellent example of people taking ownership of the beautiful game!
